The heavily modified YT-1300 light freighter Millennium Falcon was equipped with a Rubicon as part of its standard factory-issued equipment. A viewscreen and an integrated holoprojector could be used to display the selected course through hyperspace to the pilot. The Rubicon's hardware consisted of a triangular console on the ship's cockpit and included event and mission timers, an altimeter, course selection keys as well as a manual override option. It could also be used to calculate a safe route over a hazardous planetary environment. It worked in conjunction with the YT-1300's SSP05 hyperdrive and the external sensor systems to calculate realspace trajectories as well as safe paths through hyperspace and for this purpose it could hold immense amounts of astrographical data in its banks. The Rubicon was a navicomputer developed by Microaxial for the Corellian Engineering Corporation for use in CEC YT-1300 light freighters.
